“Yesterday’s event with Global Shapers was a wonderful, growthful experience for our Year 9 students and the Global Shapers. The Global Shapers commented that our students are mature, wise (even contrasting between knowing things and knowing how to apply and make sense of what we know in our lives, which they equated with wisdom), aware of what is going on in the world and committed to making a difference and well-spoken (they spoke almost entirely in English). They also commented on how beautiful our school is: in terms of nature and infrastructure. Our students commented that it was inspiring to meet the Shapers and learn about their innovative projects and different cultural backgrounds.”
